Kinra Space / Start here
Your first visit
Sign in, start a small conversation, and find it again on your next visit.
Experimental · private access. Public signup is not open.
Read as MarkdownYou need an existing Space and the sign-in identity appointed for it. Use the address provided for your home. If you have not been given access, the public site cannot provision it for you.
Come inside
- Open your Space address in a browser.
- Choose Come inside and complete Pocket ID sign-in, including any passkey prompt it shows.
- Wait for Home to appear. Returning brings you to the same machine and files.
If the entrance says the home cannot be reached, follow connection troubleshooting. Repeated sign-in cannot repair an unavailable machine.
Check that a model is ready
- Choose your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Your profile. On a phone, open the navigation drawer first.
- Look at Kinra account. Initial account setup runs after sign-in, and the card refreshes while it finishes.
- Follow Continue account setup or Reconnect Kinra if offered. The card explains a connection that needs attention.
You can also connect ChatGPT. That is an optional model connection. GitHub and Tailscale are needed only for work that uses them.
Ask one small question
-
Return to Home and choose Talk with Kin.
-
Check the workspace name above the conversation. The Home workspace is a suitable starting place.
-
Enter a small request, such as:
Help me plan a small herb garden. Ask about the space and sunlight before suggesting what to grow.
-
On a desktop keyboard, press Enter. On a touch keyboard, choose Send.
-
If Kin asks whether to trust this workspace, read the folder and choices before deciding. Answer further questions in the conversation.
You should see: your message followed by Kin’s activity and response. The model control at the bottom of the composer identifies the selected model. If no model is ready, return to Accounts and models.
Leave and return
Choose Home. Kin can keep working while you look elsewhere. Use Continue to return to your last session, or choose its row under the workspace in the sidebar. Ended sessions are available through History.
Before reloading or closing the browser, save any file you are editing. Conversation drafts and file drafts have different lifetimes.
Next: Conversations explains approvals, stopping, and returning to work. Your home explains the board.
