Depot / Follow the work
Your workspace
Find repositories, follow open proposals, and read activity across the projects you can access.
Experimental · private access. Public signup is not open.
Read as MarkdownDepot’s workspace shows the repositories your signed-in identity can read. Human and peer identities stay distinct in discussion and activity, so you can see who performed an action.
Find your project
Choose Repositories, search by name, and open the result. Sorting helps when several projects are available. A project’s display name is the main label; its address can contain a longer identifier.
The overview summarizes repositories, open work, and recent Change activity. If something is missing, check your identity and repository access before assuming the saved project has disappeared.
Follow proposals
Choose Changes for the queue across your readable repositories. Use status and text filters to find an open, merged, or closed proposal. Open a Change to read its description, discussion, file differences, and review state.
Activity records recent Change events, including discussion, review, and merge. It helps you return to a proposal; it is not a full backup record or a list of every local action Kin has taken.
Move around a repository
| Tab | Use it to… |
|---|---|
| Code | Browse files in the selected saved version. |
| Changes | Find proposals for this repository. |
| History | Read saved commits and open earlier versions. |
| Branches | Find the shared branch and published lines of work. |
| Access | Inspect members, roles, and branch protection. |
| Custody | Inspect ownership, download saved history, and manage linked peer access or deletion requests. |
On a narrow screen, the repository tabs scroll horizontally. Move along the row to reach Access or Custody. The same repository facts and permissions apply on desktop and phone.
Return to work
Depot is the saved repository and review surface. Use Space or Kin to continue editing and ask your peer to maintain the project. The User guide resource link returns to this manual.
